Open College Portal for South Yorkshire

We have just completed work on a portal site for the Open College Network for South Yorkshire and the Humber.

The site is based on Open Source technologies: PHP, MySQL, Apache running on a Linux server. The business/information functions it provides include basic articles, frequently asked questions, image upload, document library, and glossary of terms. The system allows multiple levels of editor and web-based control of site structure such as sections, sub-sections and related articles. As with all our work there is a strong emphasis on ease of use and accessibility. The site also relies on cascading style sheet technology to deliver high-speed performance.
